I hope everyone had a wonderful Spring Break. I was able to catch up on some house projects and enjoyed a few days camping with my boys. The next few weeks in orchestra will be intense, so hang on!
Spring Concert
Our Spring Concert is Thursday, April 25 at 7:00 PM in the AHS Auditorium. Come support the orchestras in their final performance of the year.
We will be performing music from movies and the radio! Come hear some Queen, Music from Spiderman, Coco, The Incredibles 2, and more!
Spring Concert Dinner RSVP

Awards Banquet
The Annual Orchestra Awards Banquet is set for Friday, April 26 at 6:30 PM at the Alpharetta Marriott on Windward Parkway. Tickets are $33/each. Families are welcome!
Students can turn in the paper banquet reservation form (available in the orchestra room) to the orchestra drop box or simply pay online at http://www.alpharettaorchestra.org/paypal
The deadline to order banquet tickets is Monday, April 15. We cannot accept walk-ins at the banquet.
Student Leadership Application for 2019-2020
We are now accepting applications for student leadership positions for 2019-2020!
The positions are:
- Manager (must be a senior and served on leadership in 18-19) – Oversees and organizes all operations, reports to director
- Student Services – Uniforms, community events, community service, volunteers
- Technology Information – Technology assistance, taking photos, social media)
- Librarians (1-2 per class) – Sorting, organizing, filing, copying, distributing sheet music & books
- Operations – Equipment inventory, lockers, classroom & stage set up (*must have 1st period class in 19-20 in order to help set up BEFORE school each day)
