Winter Concert
Are winter concert is just around the corner! Please join us on Tuesday, December 4, at 7:00 PM in the Alpharetta High School auditorium. We have put together a great variety of traditional and holiday music.
We will be serving dinner to students starting at 5:30 PM. Any student switching to eat pizza and salad, should RSVP using this form:
Students should arrive at 6:15 PM if they are not eating dinner.
Concert Cafe
Parents – please be on the lookout for a separate email regarding our “Concert Cafe” at the Winter Concert. We will be taking donations and will need some volunteers to help.
Midwest Preview Concert
The Alpharetta High School symphony Strings will be performing a Midwest clinic preview concert on Tuesday, December 11 at 7:00 PM. I’ll orchestra students are required to attend. Come hear the wonderful music that the Symphony Strings has been working on and will showcase to a very large audience in Chicago the following week.

KSU Invitational
I’m so proud of the orchestra’s performances at the KSU Invitational earlier this month. I hope it was a positive experience for the students. Each of the orchestras received extremely positive feedback from our adjudicators!
Final Exam
The orchestra final exam will be a 100 question multiple choice test that will cover orchestra terminology and vocabulary, music theory, and string technique. We will be reviewing a study guide for the exam starting next week.

Full Symphony
The last meeting of this semester will be on Tuesday, December 4 (concert day) during 4th period in the auditorium.
