Dr. Laux has presented educational sessions for The Midwest Clinic, the American String Teachers Association, the Technology Institute for Music Education, the Association for Technology in Music Instruction, and numerous state music educators association conferences.
Some of the topics include: String pedagogy, teaching heterogeneous string classes, educational technology integration, program administration, iOS Apps, podcasting and more.
He also often serves as a leader of workshops for school district professional development days across the nation.
