Dr. Laux is a dynamic presenter, having led over 200 educational sessions across 27 states for conferences such as The Midwest Clinic, the American String Teachers Association, the Technology Institute for Music Education, the Association for Technology in Music Instruction, and numerous state music educators association conferences.  Some of his session topics include:  String pedagogy, teaching heterogeneous string classes, educational technology integration, working with intermediate-level students, practice strategies, podcasting and more. He has also served as a leader of workshops for school district professional development days.

He also often serves as a leader of workshops for school district professional development days across the nation.
